In 2001, "Meteor Garden (流星花園)" went viral in Taiwan as well as the whole of Asia, creating an F4 trend. The manage was remade into Japanese, Korean and Chinese versions. At the end of 2020, Thailand’s "GMM TV" was announced to join the remaking series. The play is titled "F4 THAILAND: BOYS OVER FLOWERS" and was broadcast in 2021. After the Taiwan version of "Meteor Garden" was aired in 2001, it was highly appreciated by netizens from all over the world. In 2005, Japan also recruited Mao Inoue (井上) to play Makino Sugina (牧野杉菜), and created a luxurious F4 lineup of Jun Matsumoto (松本潤), Shun Oguri (小栗旬), Shota Matsuda (松田翔太) and Abe Riki (阿部力). After 12 years, TBS TV station remade the Japanese version of "Meteor Garden" in 2017 and invited one of the most popular young actresses - Hirose Suzu (廣瀨鈴) to star.
