The Taichung City Government's Tourism and Travel Bureau recently participated in the "2023 The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA FAIR)" to promote Taichung's natural beauty, urban style, cultural characteristics, dual-rail travel, Muslim tourism, etc. with a focus on the new southbound tourism market. About 8,500 people in total toured the Taichung exhibit during the travel expo, and those present excitedly expressed their wish to visit Taichung.

According to the Tourism and Travel Bureau of Taichung City Government, as of March 19 this year, Malaysian visitors to Taiwan were the most numerous. The municipal administration will take part in this year's Malaysia Travel Fair alongside a group of Taiwanese tourists because it has identified a new market for southbound travel. Numerous visitors flocked to the counter in Taichung City during the travel expo to request pamphlets and trip information, and the scene was bustling.

There are numerous events and festivals in Taichung, including the International Dance Carnival, Jazz Festival, and Tapestry Festival, according to the senior general manager (張金友) of the regional travel agency Golden Destination, and he will undoubtedly bring a group to participate in. Editor-in-chief (吳國樑) of STAR Photography stated that he will send a team to Taichung in the future for photo shoots so that viewers can see Taichung's grandeur through the camera.
