The most fascinating folk culture carnival in Changhua Ershui Running Water Festival is starting on 2nd, 3rd on November in Changhua Ershui. It also specially invites the exchange students from 12 countries to join this event.
Ershui Running Water Festival is an international event. The opening event will be held at 9:30 am on the 2nd at the Lin Temple in Ershui with worshipping ceremony and the Shenjiao running which will also place the products of each township to symbolize the meaning of cherishing origin. The event also invites people in different ages from elderly, middle ages and adolescences to team up the cheerleading to understand the historical significance and cultural connotation of the ancestors to open up the wilderness; in addition, it controls the amount of water in the Babaozhen, so that the people can go down in the water.
In addition to a series of blessings with local features in combination with art, culture and ceremonies, it invites the international exchange students from 12 countries including Japan, India, Canada, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Africa, the United States, Mongolia, Malaysia, Saint Vincent, Bolivia and Cambodia. Students participate in running water activities.
