On August 19, the "2023 Penghu Music Festival" (澎湖追風音樂節) made its official premiere at the Guanyin Pavilion. Every Saturday throughout the festival, several well-known singers or bands are also invited to perform on stage in addition to the static light show that runs every night. The event will end on September 30th.

The "Penghu Music Festival" (澎湖追風音樂節) was first held last year and earned the "Platinum Award" for conceptual design of the US MUSE Design Award-Exhibition and Events, according to the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration. The theme of this year's music festival is "Light Island Festival," which combines local elements like "sea creatures," "islands," and "ocean" with universal ones like "wind," "light," "music," and "story" to create a unique look for the event.

In addition, people who come to the music festival every Saturday can also go to the service center to get a raffle ticket. Each person can only receive once a week, and each round will draw NT$5,000, NT$3,000, and NT$2,000 consumption vouchers, which can be redeemed at contracted merchants.
