Taking into consideration the total quarantine capacity during the Chinese New Year, the Ministry of Education (MOE) recently sent a letter to colleges and universities, requesting schools to make arrangements for foreign students entering Taiwan in the first semester of 2021. The international students are asked to enter the country before December 15 and complete home quarantine before December 31.

For those who can only enter Taiwan after December 15, MOE has instructed schools to ask students for their explanations if they cannot attend classes by alternative methods (such as online classes). Besides, bridge courses and assistance measures for home quarantine will be provided.
