  • DOE, Taipei City Government holds multicultural summer camp for transnational transfer students and new immigrants 

The Department of Education of Taipei City Government organized 20 students from Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, the United States, Japan, and other regions for summer experiential learning camps in order to assist students in adjusting to Taiwan's educational environment, which sees an increase in transnational transfer students every year.

  • To remove communication barriers, the insurance firm hires customer service staff who speak Southeast Asian languages

To enable new immigrants to Taiwan to benefit from additional insurance rights,

insurance firms introduced translation services for their APPs in English, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, and Burmese.   • MOE launched New Immigrant Language Level Assessment Mechanism for the inheritance of mother tongue

The Ministry of Education promotes the "New Immigrant Language Level Assessment Mechanism" (新住民語文級別評估機制) in order to execute the new immigrant language curriculum for elementary and middle school students. It is intended that by keeping track of new immigrant students' achievement, mother tongue inheritance and cultural identity can be further strengthened.
