The Ocean Music Festival Ignites Summer Passion: Classic Bands Rock Gongliao

Remember the "2024 New Taipei City River and Ocean Music Festival - Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival" that made a stunning debut this July, filling the summer coast with waves of rock. Iconic indie bands like Mary Bites Kerry, Burning Island, Sunset Samurai, GOODICK, Ba Daxiong, and icyball performed with their diverse and unique music styles, setting the stage on fire and letting music fans revel in this fun-filled summer carnival.

Mary Bites Kerry opened the festival with lively tunes that blend wind instruments and rock, providing a refreshing musical experience. Following them, the all-Taiwanese heavy metal band Burning Island showcased their unique growling vocals, delivering music full of emotional tension. GOODICK used straightforward and satirical music to express criticism of society and life, resonating with the audience. Next, the humorous and charismatic Ba Daxiong brought several catchy dance tracks, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere. The finale by icyball, combining the groovy spirit of the 70s and 80s with modern electronic elements, presented a unique and relaxed rhythm, allowing fans to sway and immerse themselves in their music, concluding the first day of the festival perfectly.

In addition to the main stage performances, the side stage acts also drew attention. Emerging indie bands like Ling Bei, KaNiT, TRAEGO, ChillSome, Error Frequency, and Fire Chaser interacted closely with fans on the Fulong grassland, offering a different musical enjoyment.
