Call for photos similar to the home country! New immigrants are welcome to join with photos of their hometown!

The Kaohsiung City New Immigrant Hall (高雄市新住民會館) sponsored the "112 Years Home Country Similar Photo Collection Activity" (112年母國紀事相似照片徵集活動) as a follow-up to the theme exhibition, (時光紀視 母國記憶) which was inspired by the new immigrants' home country. Through a variety of events, it is anticipated that the new immigrants would remember their family history and feel a connection to Taiwan.

From March 15 through May 31st, submissions to the 112 Years Home Country Similar Photo Collection Activity" (112年母國紀事相似照片徵集活動) will be welcomed. We anticipate that the new immigrants would investigate jointly which locations in Taiwan have memories or other similarities with their home country through the collection of images.

The content of the photos may include people, scenic spots, culture and art, construction industry, folk customs, and other special representative themes.

Based on the gathered works, the organizer will choose the "Popularity Award" and "Participation Award." According to the rating, prizes worth between NT$200 and NT$2,000 will be given to the top 10 for the Popularity Award. Exquisite little presents will be given as participation rewards.
