Taipei City: Garbage Collection Schedule for CNY 2022 Announced by DEP

According to the Taipei City Government, to help citizens prepare for the Year of the Tiger, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has announced the End-of-the-Year Cleanup Period, which will run from today through January 23.

During this time, waste collectors will assist residents in getting rid of unnecessary old furniture and unwanted household appliances. Those who wish to make use of this service should contact the local districts' cleaning units to schedule a free appointment and to have the large waste removed. Simply deliver the big rubbish to the agreed-upon area and leave it there for the garbage truck after the time and location have been confirmed.
