16-Year-Old Teenager Regrets Tattoo, Bangkok Clinic Offers Help

At the age of 14, a Thai teenager was persuaded by friends to tattoo his face, spending 500 baht (about NT$442). However, just two years later, he regretted it as the tattoo prevented him from finding a job, facing discrimination, and even struggling to find a girlfriend. Fortunately, a clinic in Bangkok reached out to him, offering to remove the tattoo for free.

According to Khaosod, 16-year-old Phu from Buriram Province said that two years ago, he got a tattoo on his face, which extended from above his eyebrows to his chin, at the insistence of his friends. After the tattoo, Phu's life became exceedingly challenging, as he encountered continual scrutiny and even had difficulty finding a girlfriend.

Phu's friend shared his story and photos on TikTok, drawing attention from netizens. A clinic in Bangkok reached out to Phu, offering to remove the tattoo for free, reigniting hope in him. He expressed his determination to complete his education and find a stable job in the future.

eight laser treatments, one per month, to completely remove the tattoo. Each treatment requires travel expenses and accommodation costs for 2 to 3 days, which Phu currently cannot afford.
