The Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education is organizing the "2025 Youth Summer Community Workplace Experience Program." This year, the program has expanded to collaborate with over 400 non-profit organizations, offering 750 experience slots. Each participant will receive a stipend of NT$42,885.

During the 1.5-month summer break, youths can engage in workplace experiences across Taiwan, covering diverse roles such as social media marketing, event planning, and camp leadership. Applications are open until June 20. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their resumes through the "RICH Workplace Experience Network" (https://rich.yda.gov.tw).

The experience period runs from July 1 to August 14. Each organization will assign dedicated mentors to guide participants, while the Youth Development Administration provides additional support to ensure a balance between learning and practical application.Chen Xinting (right) and Cao Menghan (left) are setting up the physical exhibition and putting up exhibition posters. Last year, participants Chen Xinting (National Chi Nan University) and Cao Menghan (National Chung Hsing University) chose to serve at the "Taiwan Non-Visual Aesthetic Education Association" as Art Education Specialist and Marketing Planning Specialist, respectively. They co-organized a photography exhibition for visually impaired individuals. Chen assisted in translating artworks into tactile graphics, allowing visually impaired audiences to appreciate art through touch. Cao designed the exhibition's main visual and posters themed around "light" and collaborated with the team to create a dual-sensory guide map combining tactile and visual elements, enhancing the exhibition's accessibility. Their efforts earned them third place in the national achievement competition.

Chen Xinting shared, "This experience deepened my understanding of the value of non-profit organizations. Through active participation, I realized how limited my perspective of the world had been." Cao Menghan added, "During the experience, I interacted with many professionals dedicated to their missions, which profoundly influenced my future career path."Chen Xinting (right) and Cao Menghan (left) created exhibition posters with artwork descriptions, including braille and an audio guide QR code. The Youth Development Administration emphasizes that this program not only helps youths accumulate practical experience but also offers opportunities to explore career paths, understand community needs, and embrace social responsibility. Students under 35 years old currently enrolled in colleges or universities are encouraged to participate. There is no limit to the number of applications, but slots are limited.
