During the summer vacation, the University of Science and Technology held a multinational mixed-class summer camp. Affected by the epidemic, students from international sister schools could not come to participate. After the epidemic eased, foreign students from some domestic universities and colleges came to the school. The summer camp was prepared in both physical and online formats. The courses included Chinese language learning, dim sum making, Pilates, and traditional face painting and other diverse courses.

Belgian student Decorte Thomas said that he did not return to his country during the summer vacation because of the epidemic, so he participated in the summer camp. In the morning, he learned Chinese courses and attended online classes with students from other countries. In the afternoon, he attended practical activity courses where he learned about Taiwan culture and met friends from different countries. His favorite activity was making bubble milk tea.

In addition, under the level two alert epidemic prevention regulations for indoor activities not exceeding 50 people, 18 foreign students came to the school to participate in the international mixed-class summer camp. Other students who were not able to go to the school to attend the courses which lasted for two weeks, include students from Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Sudan, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Slovenia, Belgium, Guatemala, Peru, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, etc. A total of 73 students from 14 countries attended the classes together remotely and physically.
