Changhua Family Support Center (彰化家扶中心) collects scholarships and grants for 800 outstanding students of the family center. Recently, at the Yuanlin Service Center (員林服務處表揚), 10 student representatives were praised for they were named on the gold list and successfully advanced in their school. 23-year-old Chen Hsueh-yi (陳學義) lost his father when he was 4 years old and with the support of the Family Center, he, and his younger brother Chen Chien-hui (陳健輝) were both admitted to graduate school. They hope to work in a foreign company after graduation to help improve their family situation.

Chen Hsueh-yi, a second generation of new immigrant, said that his mother Ma Yu-fang (馬玉芳), an overseas Chinese from Myanmar, gave birth to 4 children after marriage. Unexpectedly, his father passed away due to an accident at work, so she had to support the 4 children by herself. His mother worked in the YMCA After School Service Center as supplementary class teacher. She attaches great importance to education and is very open-minded to allow children to develop their interests freely. With the help of a large family and the leadership of the church, the four brothers all went to college and are all on the right path.

Chen Hsueh-yi was admitted to the Department of Electronic Physics (電子物理系) of the National Chiao-tung University (國立交通大學) from Changhua High School (彰化高中). He developed an interest in information courses during his university studies. By using his tuition fees subsidy, he purchased examination reviewers and self-studied. He was successfully admitted to the National Taiwan University Department of Electrical Engineering Information Security Master’s Degree (台大電機工程系資安碩士班). He scored high with over 800 points, and he would like to work in a foreign company in the future, and he also hopes to study abroad to further his education and broaden his horizons.
The younger brother Chen Chien-hui, just graduated from the Department of Health Care Management of Chang Gung University (長庚大學醫務管理系) and was promoted to the Institute of Health Care Management (醫務管理所) with the second highest grade. At the same time, he was admitted to the Master of Science Degree Program in Innovation for Smart Medicine (同時錄取智慧醫療創新碩士學程). He hopes that he will have better future after graduation and give back to his mother for her cultivation and to give back society.
