Yang Yung-Wei (楊勇緯), a judoka from Taiwan, just earned another gold medal in the Hangzhou Asian Games. He had previously won the men's 60 kg judo silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. In addition to being Taiwan's 100th gold medal in Asian Games history, this is also his first gold medal ever. Yang ran to embrace his coach after ascertaining that he had won the game and wept with joy, "I finally did it!"

He ultimately used his wrestling abilities to win half the match against South Korea's Harim Lee in the final and went on to win the gold medal.
