The New Residents Family Growth Association (新住民家庭成長協會) also stated that only new immigrants or members of their families may apply for free legal consultation services, and that each appointment can last no more than 30 minutes.
The association's secretary-general advises everyone to consider their queries carefully before gathering all pertinent information and documentation. Since various identities will be subject to different rules and regulations, new immigrants are also advised to prepare their passports and residency cards.
