Considering the stable domestic epidemic situation and the experience of other countries’ epidemic prevention adjustment measures, and after communicating, discussing, and evaluating with relevant units, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC, 中央流行疫情指揮中心), announced that it will maintain the level-2 epidemic alert standard from August 10 to August 23 and the eight major venues are still closed.

Chen Shi-chung (陳時中), the commander of the CECC, said that people still cannot go to community colleges, senior learning centers, community care centers, parent-child halls, and tabletop game venues (but can sell board games). For swimming pools, vocational training, etc., they must follow epidemic prevention guidelines. For those selling tea eggs and oden, they should be the one to serve the items to the buyers and no sharing of the serving tongs, or if the items are wrapped already, then they are allowed to sell.
