The third year of the Paris City Government's Taiwanese Language Class has begun. The number of French individuals interested in Taiwanese culture has grown recently, according to the professors' views. Students in the Taiwanese Language Class have also stated in media interviews that they desire to learn more about Taiwan through Taiwanese Language and comprehend Taiwan's history and culture from many viewpoints.

The "Taiwanese Language Class" will be introduced by Cours d'Adultes de Paris starting in 2021, giving interested Parisians the opportunity to learn the language and culture of Taiwan from the ground up and to foster cross-cultural dialogue through appreciating Taiwanese literary and artistic productions.

The Taiwanese language instructor (潘怡伶) claimed that she concentrates on teaching everyday exchanges that may be used realistically when traveling. Through the course, she also wants the students to understand Taiwan's many cultures and the historical narratives underlying its cultural references. She claimed that she wrote all of the course materials herself, and that students had given her highly positive feedback.

Student from Senegal Abdoul-Aziz Mbodj said that before to enrolling in Taiwanese Language Class, he was unable to identify Taiwan on a map and had no knowledge of its history. But after studying Taiwanese, he was even more eager to discover Taiwan. He also respects individuals who preserve and pass down the Taiwanese language. He thinks that this language has a very important place in the hearts of these musicians and music listeners thanks to the formation of bands like EggPlantEgg and Fire EX.
