The National Immigration Agency working with Tainan City Government will move to Tainan City to hold a grand celebration event, “Taiwan, Diversity Calls It Home” at the Chimei Museum and invite the local the “Fengzhiyun” Cheongsam Association to perform a “Cheongsam Beauty Dance” catwalk.
Tainan Fengzhiyun Cheongsam Association, whose members are all the new residents from Mainland China, was established in March 2019. Since it was established, it has participated in more than 50 performances, and it is looking forward to showing the dignity and elegance of women and the charm of traditional Chinese cheongsam’s tenderness. At this Migrants Day, “Fengzhiyun” Cheongsam Association will perform "Cheongsam Beauty Dance" with the classical beauty of blue and white porcelain blossoming inside out as the cheongsam women being beautiful but not asking for attention. The performance will be combined with the classical dance to show the elegant figures under cheongsams through the catwalk of cheongsams.
The NIA states that the celebration event “Taiwan, Diversity Calls It home” for the Migrants Day invites the local group of new residents to perform, and it is expected that this event of new residents’ group will elegantly present themselves and achieve the concept of the integration of all Taiwanese ethnic groups being a family. It is also hoped that people will all participate in this event with their families at the Chimei Museum.
