Chi led a photogrammetry workshop at Medialab Prado with local participants during his stay in Madrid. Photogrammetry is a method of reconstructing the 3D model of an arbitrary object from a series of photographs using a digital camera. In the workshop, participants learned how to systematically photograph things and process digital images into a 3D model. Artist invited collaborators and participants to choose an object as a "souvenir" to scan with smartphones. This approach creates digital models from the surroundings and offers a form to commemorate moments in life. In the meantime, these digital profiles are ready to be mass-produced and released on the internet.

According to [Medialab Prado], Chi did several experiments on turning these photogrammetry models into multi-format representations. For example, WebVR and tangible media as musical interfaces. He regards this work-in-progress project as an interactive collage inclusive of all the glitches in the process.
