After acquiring Taiwanese citizenship, Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast Larisa Bakurova (瑞莎) founded the Gymnastics Association. She is dedicated to developing gymnasts in Taiwan's primary and secondary schools, and she has had considerable success. Recent international events in Turkey and Spain that Larisa Bakurova accompanied the young athletes to compete in yielded results of 19 gold, 7 silver, and 2 bronze.

When Larisa Bakurova (瑞莎) watched the young Taiwanese athletes' impressive performances, she was proud of them. She claimed on social media that because she had just given birth to her daughter the year before, she was unable to accompany the kids to the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Turkey. However, this year, Larisa Bakurova was finally able to present to see the kids' outstanding performances.

Larisa Bakurova (瑞莎) personally arranged the candidates' hair and cosmetics during the competition and captured all of the moments on camera. She also took the kids on vacation, leaving them with priceless and lasting memories. In the two international championships, Larisa Bakurova said the young Taiwanese athletes were on stage 28 times to accept honors. Despite how exhausting the training process had been, she was quite content and proud of them. Everything was worth it as she saw the kids improve.
