Spring Festival: New Immigrants to Experience Calligraphy

For the upcoming Lunar New Year on next week, Social Affairs Department, Kinmen County Government will hold a Chinese calligraphy red template activity on January 15th (Sunday) to introduce Taiwanese festival culture to new immigrants.

The activity is planned to start at 9:00 am on January 15th (Sunday) and end at 12:00 noon. The location is in the audio-visual reading room of the social welfare center, Kinmen County; registration effective from today and the maximum applicant number is 30.

The activity will focus on the new immigrants of Kinmen County and their family members as the main priority. The general public will be opened to participate if there are surplus places after registration. The activity takes telephone registration, please call: (082) 332756, 335690, Social Worker Li for registration and further information.

In addition, Mr. Huang, Xiu-Zhong(黃秀中), a calligrapher from the Kinmen County Chinese Calligraphy Society will be invited to guide students on the basics of calligraphy of Spring Festival templates.
