Famous basketball players Qiu Zi-xuan, Lu Wei-ting, and international star Jason Brickman were invited by Kaohsiung's local professional team, the "Kaohsiung Aquas," to the Kaohsiung City Police Department to take part in public awareness campaigns for crime prevention. Awareness of fraud and human trafficking crime prevention is improved via the influence of professional basketball stars.

The players said they would like to participate in Secret Service exercises after seeing highly armed Secret Service officials while shooting pictures for crime prevention efforts. Following one-on-one instruction from special service instructors on the spot, the players paired up with special service officers and dressed in police clothes and weapons to imitate assaulting, apprehending, and subduing criminals.
