Job training course opened in Taichung to help new immigrants open doors to future career.

To help new residents enter the workplace, the Taichung City Government Labor Bureau has organized a three-echelon course of "Career skills training" this year to introduce the industrial sectors, work environment and needs for human resource development, as well as connenct the new residents with systematic vocational training programs. The first echelon -  "Social Media and Digital Marketing Training Course" was successfully completed in March. Thanks to the positive feedback, the second echelon and third echelon will be planned one after another. New residents are welcomed to sign up.

The Director of the Labour Bureau, Mr Woo Wai-wai, said that through the course of "Career skills training", I hope that new residents will learn more professional skills when they participate in the vocational training to enhance their own skills and enhance their employability so that they can successfully enter the workplace and achieve the goal of economic autonomy.

Wu Weizhi pointed out that the Office is expected to hold a three- echelon course of “Career skills training" this year. The first echelon "Social Media and Digital Marketing Training Course" has been successfully held. It includes social media and digital marketing industry development and resource linkage strategies, working environment introduction, online platform marketing promotion, etc. The participants and the lecturers actively interacted and responded enthusiastically. This year, the second echelon and third echelon course will be planned one after another. New residents are welcomed to sign up.

Fu Jingru, Director of the Taichung City Employment Service Office, said that In addition to holding the Course of “Career skills training" for new residents, the office is more active in participating in the activities for new residents, such as the New Residents Carnival, the ASEAN Music Talent Competition and the Thai-Myanmar Water Festival, new residents returning to their hometown for New Year's celebration activities, etc., By setting up a propaganda booths, providing various employment resources, and establishing an unlimited employment services, or if new residents are worried about how to communicate with the employer during the interview, they will be accompanied by a service staff to the interview.
