 The 11 winners of the 30^th National Award of Outstanding SMEs (國家磐石獎), and 8 winners of Overseas Taiwanese Business Award of Outstanding SMEs (海外台商磐石獎) were announced. In addition, President Tsai Ing-wen attended the event and presented the awards to the winners, sharing the joy and glory with the guests.

According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in order to encourage steady and healthy SMEs with outstanding performance in various aspects such as business management, financial management, innovation strategies and marketing, and contributing to society, the selection and awarding event of National Award of Outstanding SMEs have been hosted to recognize the domestic SMEs that can become a model to promote the transformation of SMEs.

President Tsai states that today's global industries are still severely impacted by the COVID-19. Not only are domestic companies at a critical moment for their survival but many large multinational companies are also affected, and small and medium-sized enterprises are also greatly impacted.

However, we have overcome numerous difficulties together. No matter in the fields of sports, economic and trade performance, people and enterprises of Taiwan have demonstrated flexibility and resilience while facing challenges.
