According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Armi Millare has announced her departure from UDD, originally known as Up Dharma Down, after 17 years with the band.

"I've considered the ideal moment to do this for a long time and have come to the conclusion that there is no 'best time' to convey a message like the one I'm about to deliver," she stated. "Last June, I made the decision to cut relations with Terno Recordings, its parent company MTME, and, as a result, my band, UDD."

The singer then reflected on her time with the band, revealing that she had hoped to keep her leaving a secret at first, but that the nature of her profession required her to do it publicly.

"I owe this news to you, all the music listeners, to let you know that your patronage and affection of the band gave me the [lifetime] experience," she stated.

"I see that during our time together, there was more development than perfection, and I'm willing to let it stop where it has," Millare concluded. "We had a fantastic run."
