  • New Taipei City opens summer activities starting August 10

While under the nationwide level 2 alert, the New Taipei City Government is slowly adjusting its policies. Summer activities and sports team training for levels below high school will begin on August 10. Schools must follow relevant epidemic prevention measures to protect the health of students, teachers, and staff.   • New immigrant mothers can go to "supplementary schools" and are provided childcare services for their children

New immigrants in Keelung can now sign up for supplementary schools. The Keelung City Government will be providing temporary childcare services to new immigrant mothers. New immigrant mothers can have peace of mind while taking their classes without having to worry about their children.   • The National Immigration Agency awards scholarships and bursaries to new immigrants

New immigrants have various skills that can contribute to local work development. To increase competitiveness among new immigrants, the NIA provides skill certifications and licenses. There were 14 recipients of the “New Immigrants and their children Training Scholarship Program" subsidy.
