The well-known Canadian science YouTube channel "AsapSCIENCE" hosts Mitchell Moffit and Gregory Brown recently visited Taiwan as part of "Spend a Night @ Taiwan's Presidential Office Building" and had a conversation with President Tsai Ing-wen about a variety of topics including food, technology, green energy, and Taiwanese culture.

Founded in 2012, the "AsapSCIENCE" channel is a well-known scientific YouTube channel in Canada. There are 10.5 million subscribers and 1.8 billion channel views overall. The hosts, Moffit and Brown, do a fantastic job of helping viewers grasp science in a simple and straightforward manner. Furthermore, the two individuals—who self-identify as queer—don't hold back when it comes to promoting gender diversity concerns. The two of them feel that visiting Taiwan as gay people is safe and welcoming because Taiwan is the only nation in Asia to allow same-sex marriage.
The world's attention has always been drawn to Taiwan's technical growth. President Tsai Ing-wen suggested that Moffit and Brown visit science parks in Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and other locations during their tour to Taiwan. Furthermore, a thorough exploration of Taiwan's diverse cultures, cuisine, and human touch is highly recommended.
Moffit and Brown also shared with President Tsai that they are used to Taiwanese cuisine due to their numerous Taiwanese friends in Canada. They are eager to try "stinky tofu" in order to taste the unique flavor created by chemical reactions. The two are also looking forward to taking the high-speed rail this time to Taiwan because there isn't any in Canada.
Along with Minister of Digital Affairs Audrey Tang, the two also filed for a digital gold card. They will be allowed to stay in Taiwan for work exchanges and possibly launch a business after getting the card in the future. In addition to receiving medical and health insurance benefits, they are also permitted to bring their families to Taiwan.
