  • CDC advises parents to keep an eye on their children's hygiene practices to avoid enterovirus

Enterovirus is now under an outbreak in Taiwan. The CDC has further noted that enteroviruses are currently present in the community. A doctor reminded that the major symptoms of this year's enterovirus are rapid fever, vomiting, appetite loss, and sore throat. The CDC advises parents to focus more on personal hygiene, form the habit of often washing their hands, and regularly disinfect and clean toys and other things that kids commonly contact. To avoid viral transmission, keep ill children at home or as far away from other babies and young children as possible. They should as well avoid traveling to public areas.

  • Hsinchu City New Immigrants Life Adaptation Counseling Class to help new immigrants integrate into life in Taiwan

The Hsinchu City Government organized a New Immigrants Life Adaptation Counseling Class from May 28 to July 9 in order to aid their integration into Taiwanese society.

The program included free outdoor studies, activities, lunch, and childcare, and registration is currently open. The Department of Civil Affairs of Hsinchu City Government announced that it will keep holding life adaptation counseling sessions for new immigrants. Additionally, the amount of class hours might serve as evidence of naturalization.

  • Gongliao Mountain and Sea Festival: Exciting concert for two weekends!

Gongliao Mountain and Sea Festival (青春山海線—貢響山海祭) planned by the New Taipei City Government's Tourism Bureau have officially begun. Visitors may take in the splendor of nature while participating in events like food trucks, markets, concerts, and installation art at Gongliao. There will be a concert every Saturday night, and a variety of well-known performers will be invited to take the stage.
