Cheng-Gong Market (成功市場)in Keelung City(基隆市) was reported that the stalls were infected with the virus. After a comprehensive PCR nucleic acid test, 6 positive diagnoses were detected, of which 5 were fresh meat stalls, and 1 was related to Ren'ai Market (仁愛市場). Mayor Lin Youchang (林右昌) announced that Cheng-Gong Market will be closed for an extended period while Ren'ai Market will be closed tonight. He appeals to all walks of life to strictly face the market's epidemic prevention work.

Cheng-Gong Market and Ren'ai were ravaged by Covid-19. Market Among the 6 confirmed cases, there were 2 pork stalls, 2 chicken stalls, 1 aquatic product stalls, and 1 was a snack trader who had contact with the stalls. 5 of the 6 confirmed cases were fresh meat vendor. Lin Youchang(林右昌) announced that Cheng-Gong Market will be closed until 0:00 on June 23. In addition, , Ren'ai Market will also be closed from 6 pm today to 0:00 on June 24 since one of the pork vendors also run at Ren'ai Market.

All stalls will be demanded to clean their stalls independently with disinfectant or alcohol. After the market is closed, the Environmental Protection Bureau (環保局) will enter the market for complete cleaning. Next, it will conduct a comprehensive PCR detection for the stalls of Ren'ai Market (仁愛市場).

The traditional market in Keelung City will conduct crowd control measures to decrease the flow of people through the division of people according to the number of the ID card.
