“10-Year Vision” launched in the New Taipei City, building a second home for new immigrants
The mayor of New Taipei City, Hou You Yi, launched the policy with “10-Year Vision for new immigrants” activities. He announced that there will be more than a hundred government-industry-university-citizen units that promote cross-agency, cross-field, and cross-international cooperation. New immigrant & celebrity – Larisa makes reminders to 2021 referendum on December 18
To generate more publicity, the Central Election Commission specially invited the new immigrant & celebrity - Larisa Bakurova to shoot a commercial video. Larisa expressed her excitement as this will be her first time participating in the referendum, and she also shared tips on voting with the public. Individuals can register at designated clinics for AZ and BNT vaccines
According to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), local governments may provide the first and second doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT) vaccine or the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine to individuals who have not scheduled a vaccination appointment on the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system. Taoyuan City Government adopts 3 principles to help new immigrants & the underprivileged
During the pandemic, the Taoyuan City Government assisted the Taoyuan citizens by allowing them to apply for relief packages online. Once the individuals are eligible for the relief packages, money will be immediately transferred to their bank accounts.
