The Taiwan and France-coproduced film "For My Country" will be released at the end of September. Karim Leklou, Shan Boumedine, Lubna Azabal, and Vivian Sung (宋芸樺) are among the leading actors. Throughout the whole film, Vivian Sung challenges herself to have all the dialogues in English.

Rachid Hami, an Algerian-French director, has submitted "For My Country" as his second film to the Venice Film Festival. His own family's tale served as the basis for the narrative, which accurately depicts the challenges faced by an Arab family that immigrated to France. The movie also investigates the bullying problem in military.
The entire film was filmed in Taiwan, France, and Morocco. The most priceless scene that was filmed in Taiwan is when a group of people assemble on the terrace to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks from Taipei 101.

Actors Karim Leklou and Shan Boumedine also share a motorbike ride in a scene set in Wulai. Audiences from all around the world may enjoy the grandeur of Taiwan's mountains and woods in addition to witnessing the two performers reveal their emotions during the film. The premiere of "For My Country" will be on September 28.
