Become an Ocean Protector: The Coast Guard Recruits New Residents to Join the Mission
The Immigration Service of the Ministry of the Interior, Chiayi City Service Center recently held a family education and law promotion activity. They promoted new immigrant care services and invited recruiters from the Central Taiwan Regional Command of the Coast Guard Administration to introduce Coast Guard jobs, encouraging aspiring young people to contribute to maritime safety. As the sea surrounds Taiwan, it's crucial to understand naval affairs. To enhance new immigrant understanding of Coast Guard work, the event specifically invited Coast Guard recruiter Chang Yi-chang to explain the Coast Guard's work content, recruitment criteria, and benefits. Chang emphasized that coastal defense is a part of national security, and the Coast Guard's core missions include protecting fishing rights, rescue operations, maintaining maritime order, managing naval affairs, and protecting marine conservation. The event welcomed new immigrants and second-generation immigrants to join the Coast Guard and become new partners of the Coast Guard.

The Ministry of Culture's Mongolian and Tibetan Cultural Center, dedicated to preserving and promoting Tibetan traditional religious art, is hosting the "Tibet Culture and Art Festival" for its 10th year. This year's special event is the "Celestial Sounds, Rhythmic Drums" concert. It features internationally renowned Tibetan vocalist "Qiong Ying Zhuoma" and the internationally acclaimed Taiwanese art group "You Ren Shen Gu." Together, they will use celestial voices to awaken people's serene and harmonious Buddha nature and drumming to open up the viewer's minds. The performance will guide audiences through the passage of time and across language barriers. The concert will be held on November 26th and 27th at the Taipei Grand Opera House.
