The Kaohsiung City Zuoying Family Service Center for New Immigrants extends an invitation to the Filipino second-generation immigrant to introduce Filipino culture and cuisine in collaboration with four community development groups and service offices in Zuoying and Nanzi.
Li Yifang, a second-generation Filipino immigrant, shared her experiences growing up as a second-generation Filipino immigrant and how to get over cultural barriers in Taiwan during this event. She also showcased the culture and cuisine of the Philippines.

During the event, Li Yifang also guided everyone in making Buko Pandan candles in the Filipino way to deepen their awareness of the Philippines. She did this by combining her skill in making handcrafted fragrant candles with visuals of Filipino food.
