Zhushan Station's inauguration ceremony was recently held by the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency's Alishan Forest Railway and Cultural Heritage Office. Tsou elders, as well as all of the elementary school students and teachers in the area, were invited to witness this historic event. The visitors traveled from Alishan Station to Zhushan Station aboard the century-old steam train, the SL-31 welcome train. The Tsou elders sang customary tribe songs and prayed using age-old customs for the opening of Zhushan Station.

The station hall, entrance graphics with rhombus ceilings, and platform flooring with wood-grain flat tiles and twill pavement are all derived from Tsou cultural totems, which turn regional Tsou tribal features into spatial components.
