[Taiwan Immigrants’ Global News Network] The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) actively promotes five friendly financial services, such as helping to promote the employment of foreign professionals with gold cards and offering foreigners financial services, in order to cooperate with the government's population and immigration policies and strengthen the policy of attracting foreign professionals to Taiwan. Relevant information, keep pushing banks to build bilingual ATMs and branches, ask the banking sector to enhance foreign-friendly financial services, and improve online account opening for foreigners.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs' website also introduced "Contact Taiwan" to provide crucial details for foreign professionals using financial services in Taiwan, such as a list of bilingual branches, documents needed for account opening, safety measures for applying for a debit card or credit card, instructions for performing foreign exchange transactions, and content that is regularly updated.

The Financial Supervisory Commission also requests that Taiwan's main banks enhance their services for foreigners and urges them to establish bilingual ATMs and branches. By the end of December of the previous year, 23 domestic banks had established 827 bilingual branches, offering bilingual financial services and first-line bilingual service counters. 30,306 ATMs, or around 97% of all ATMs, are bilingual. Many banks have introduced ATMs with multilingual services this year. At ATMs around the nation, China Trust (中國信託) has offered 12 foreign language services, while Taishin Bank (台新銀行) offers 7 languages, including the native tongues of migrant workers—Bahasa Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese. For visitors and newcomers to Taiwan, it is more practical.
