The revision of the "Sexual Harassment Prevention Act" was approved in its third reading by the Legislative Yuan. The Taipei City Government then established a "Sexual Harassment Hotline" in partnership with the Modern Women's Foundation to offer the public expert sexual harassment consulting services, and it was formally launched on July 31.

The Gender Equity Education Act, the Act of Gender Equality in Employment, and the Sexual Harassment Prevention Act are the three main statutes that make up the present Sexual Harassment Prevention Act. The Taipei City Government has particularly established a "Sexual Harassment Hotline" via which the public will respond to inquiries about the three main rules and regulations in an integrated manner due to the inconvenience faced in complaints or consultations.

According to the Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government, the goal of establishing a Sexual Harassment Hotline is to make it possible for anybody to receive assistance when they do, demonstrating the significance the government places on the prevention and management of sexual harassment. Call the Sexual Harassment Hotline at 02-23911067 if someone nearby needs help or has inquiries regarding sexual harassment policies and laws.
