The 10th Dream-Building Project for New Immigrants and Their Children

The "10th Dream-Building Project for New Immigrants and Their Children" registration period, which is being organized by the National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior, is open now until November 20. The initiative encourages multicultural encounters, qualified individuals are welcome to take part.

The 10th Dream-Building Project for New Immigrants and Their Children

Event objective

National Immigration Agency launched the " Dream-Building Project for New Immigrants and Their Children" with the purpose to help new immigrants and their children realizing their dreams.

Eligibility

New immigrants: Foreigners, stateless persons, people from Mainland China, residents of Hong Kong or Macao, and those who have obtained Taiwanese nationality by naturalization, are currently or have been married to Taiwanese, and are legally residing, settling or having a household registration in Taiwan.

Children of New immigrants: The age requirement for registered children of new immigrants in Taiwan is six years old or above. If there are exceptional situations, the above will be decided individually.

Categories

The Dream Building Project has five major themes: Entrepreneurship and Marketing, Education and arts, Multimedia and digital technology, Social welfare services and Environmental protection and sustainable development. Candidates may only sign up for one subject at a time.

Groups are divided into five major categories, with 2 to 5 people in each group.

2 of them must be new immigrants or children of new immigrants.

Selection method

Five selection committee members will select 50 winners from 5 categories.

The maximum amount of dream-building bonuses each group can receive.

NT$80,000.

It is anticipated that the winners' list will be released in January 2024. The dream-building phase for the winners will run from February to August 2024. November 2024 is the tentative date for both the dream-realization tea party and the presentation of the final findings.

Registration

Online and paper-based registration processes are used. It is necessary for applicants to finish the online and paper-based registration processes sequentially. The evaluation content will mostly be based on written registration papers in order to guarantee the accuracy of the information.

1. Online registration: Kindly enter the registration website's pertinent information into the system. (Registration link)

2. Paper registration: Complete the plan and registration form (including the consent form), send it by registered mail with the necessary documentation to the " The 10th Dream-Building Project for New Immigrants and Their Children Activity Group" (第10屆新住民及子女築夢計畫活動小組) of the Immigration Affairs Section of the National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior.
