Many people are experiencing stranger symptoms and discomfort after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Nutritionists are reminding people to be more mindful of their eating habits after vaccination. Smoking, drinking alcohol, staying up late should all be avoided as much as possible.

Once vaccines were being administered, several people explained that they felt unwell or uncomfortable afterward. After the first dose of the vaccine was administered at the end of April, people said they began to experience headaches, fever, and general weakness in the body. Many of them visited hospitals for consultation.

Nutritionist Hsia Tzu-wen (夏子雯) said that inflammation and fever after vaccination is a normal response of the immune system. However, people must try to avoid eating deep-fried, salty, and high-sugar foods to prevent their bodies from being inflamed. People can adopt healthier eating habits to strengthen the cells in their bodies, like eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking more water.

Staying safe from the COVID-19 virus does not only depend on the vaccine but maintaining good health as well.
