To welcome the New Year, the Forestry Bureau Taitung Branch has planned the "Taitung New Year Quartet," inviting the public to explore the forest and experience the unique charm of nature and tribal culture. The event features a mix of activities, including a fun baseball challenge, nighttime forest exploration, tribal market, and nature trail hiking, offering a chance to immerse in the beauty of Taitung's landscapes during the holiday season.
Baseball Challenge: "Winning the New Year"
Combining sports and nature conservation education, the "Winning the New Year: Baseball Challenge" will take place exclusively on the third and fourth days of the Lunar New Year. Activities include interactive games such as "Hit for Conservation" and "Guard the Environment," with participants standing a chance to win exquisite Taitung-made forest-themed items.
- Target Audience: Open to all families, 9 players per session, on-site registration.

Night Adventure in Zhiben: Unveiling Starry Secrets
The Zhiben National Forest Recreation Area offers a nighttime exploration guided by experts, allowing visitors to discover nocturnal animals and experience the magical blend of starry skies and forests.

Dulan Mountain Challenge: Greet the New Year with Heights
Taitung's natural trails encourage the public to embrace the outdoors for self-challenge. Dulan Mountain is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, offering views of the Beinan River, Luye Plateau, and the valley plain, with opportunities to see Green Island and Orchid Island on clear days.
