「Happiness Southern Taiwan」 begins broadcasting New immigrant radio program opens a new chapter of multiculturalism.

The Kaohsiung Branch of the National Education Radio Station has launched the 114th annual new immigrant radio program, Happiness Southern Taiwan. Starting in January, the program airs every Saturday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on FM101.7. Hosted by new immigrant representative Chen Ying, the program focuses on stories of new immigrant life and cultural exchange, inviting the public to join in.The Kaohsiung Branch of National Education Radio launches the new 114-year immigrant program Happiness Southern Taiwan. Happiness Southern Taiwan features diverse content, including cuisine, life experiences, and touching stories. It invites experts, scholars, new immigrants, and local community representatives to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by new immigrants in Taiwan, fostering understanding and acceptance of the new immigrant community.

Prominent media figures such as Bo News Editor-in-Chief Li Zhiwen, former RTI Secretary Wu Ruiwen, and RTI program host Xia Zhiping have extended congratulations to Chen Ying, recognizing the program's contributions to cultural exchange. Additionally, directors Xu Zhiquan and Chen Yingzhi of the National Immigration Agency's Kaohsiung First and Second Service Stations expressed their support and expectations for the program.

Chen Ying, who has been passionate about broadcasting since childhood, has long focused on new immigrant issues and is dedicated to promoting cultural exchange. She hopes the program will build a cultural bridge, amplify the voices of new immigrants, and foster greater understanding and inclusivity in society. "Happiness Southern Taiwan is not just a platform for sharing stories; it's a warm window for everyone to feel Taiwan's hospitality and inclusivity," said Chen Ying.
