The 2021 "New Immigrants' Life Adaptation Counseling Class" (新住民生活適應輔導班) is scheduled to run from July to August. The courses are diverse and completely free. After completing this course, a certificate of 30 hours of study of "basic language ability and basic knowledge of national rights and obligations". The course is completely free. The Civil Affairs Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government (高雄市政府民政局)will implement care and counselling measures for foreign spouses to improve their ability to adapt to life in Taiwan and enable them to smoothly integrate into the living environment of Taiwan. This is to create a multicultural society and to avoid various family and social problems caused by maladjustment. Therefore, the "New Immigrants' Life Adaptation Counseling Class started on July 17. The courses are diverse and family members are welcome to participate.

Program Schedule: July 17 to August 29
Enrollment Date: From today until slots are available (30 students per class).
Enrollment Requirements: Passport or Alien Residence Certificate (ARC), one photo
Eligibility to enroll: Non- resident foreign spouses of Taiwanese, Taiwanese without household registration, stateless people, people from mainland China, and residents of Hong Kong and Macau who have been naturalized as Taiwanese nationals but still need care and counseling
