Taiwan Immigrants' Global News Network】A historic site is just like a history learning material.  For foreigners to learn about the history of Taipei, the guided tour “Blast to the Past”: Walking Tour of Old Taipei has been held since 2017 by The National Taiwan Museum, and it’s held in the morning on the third Sunday of each month.  Foreigners and immigrants will learn more about the history of the historic sites nearby and understand Taiwanese history and culture as well.

The guided tour “Blast to the Past”: Walking Tour of Old Taipei is for foreign tourists and new immigrants.  The route of the tour includes The National Taiwan Museum, Taipei North Gate, which was established in Qing Dynasty, 228 Peace Park, and National Taiwan Museum Railway Department Park which was established during the Japanese ruling period.  Through this tour, foreigners and new immigrants will get to know the historic sites of Taipei, and the development of the city.

“Blast to the Past”: Walking Tour of Old Taipei will be held continually on the third Sunday of each month, and the time of the tour is 9:20 to 10:30 about 3 hours.  There are two different prices for the tour fee.  NT$50 is for regular, NT$25 is for discount.
