New Taipei City Senior Love Card New System Launches on July 2, Expanding Usage Scope
New Taipei City officially launched the new system of the Senior Love Card on July 2, expanding its usage scope. In addition to being able to be used for Taiwan Railways, buses, MRT, and Airport MRT, it can now also be used for taxis and YouBike, providing greater transportation convenience for seniors and citizens with disabilities.
Taxi Service
With the new system in place, cardholders can use the Senior Love Card to take taxis, with a maximum deduction of 65 points per trip. The taxi pick-up points are limited to the areas of Taipei, New Taipei, Keelung, Taoyuan, and Yilan, but the drop-off points are not restricted. Users just need to identify taxis with the "New Taipei Senior Love Taxi Fleet" sticker for a safe ride. Additionally, citizens can book a taxi via phone or app for more convenient service. Before boarding, ensure that the card's balance is greater than the fare.

YouBike 2.0, 2.0E Service
YouBike 2.0 and 2.0E within New Taipei City are now included in the Senior Love Card usage scope. Cardholders will be charged points according to the current fare system, with a maximum of 480 points per month. The bike rental points are limited to New Taipei City, and the return points include New Taipei, Taipei, and Taoyuan. Users need to register as members on the official website or app and complete free accident insurance before borrowing a bike.

Multi-Method Taxi Booking
Currently, New Taipei City collaborates with major taxi operators, providing 11 taxi fleets with about 12,500 taxis offering Senior Love services. It is hoped that citizens in need will make good use of these conveniences.
