The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) released a short film, titled "THE DOCTOR IS IN", presenting Taiwan's contribution to global public health from the perspective of a doctor, and calling on the World Health Organization to accept Taiwan's participation to make the world public health system is more complete, and it is hoped that through this short video, more support from the international community will be obtained, so that Taiwan can participate in the 76th World Health Assembly on May 21, 2023.

"THE DOCTOR IS IN" is shot using the "one shot to the end" technique. The film shows the screen of Taiwan's medical cases that are regularly shown on the TV through the scene of a doctor living at home, demonstrating that Taiwan's medical services cover all demands in the globe and that the country is dedicated to creating a positive perception of human health.

The short film documents Taiwan's medical assistance stationed in Ukraine, helping hospitals of children's heart that had been devastated by war and the " Taiwan International Healthcare Training Center " (TIHTC) that offered training programs for foreign medical professionals. In the last 20 years, it has taught 2,000 medical workers from 77 countries.
Taiwan's medical teams have also gone deep into African nations such as Eswatini, executing strategies to promote maternal and child health, and effectively lowering infant mortality. A universal health insurance program that Taiwan successfully implemented has also earned it a top ranking in the worldwide database Numbeo's annual health care index. Ranked top in the globe for four years.
